Holiday clothing inspiration from Sex and the City 2

What is it about Sex and the City that we are all so captivated with? Is it those romantic storylines or the hilarious discussions between the SATC girls? Maybe a bit of both, but most of all we love to see what amazing clothes the girls will be wearing from their Manolo Blahnik clad feet to their Marc Jacobs clutches.

The Sex and the City girls have wardrobes full of clothes that most of us can only dream about, each with their own unique signature style. So it is no wonder that when we heard they were making the sequel to the Sex and the City Film, we couldn’t wait to plan a girlie night out to find out just what is going on with Carrie and Big and best of all what they will be wearing. Carrie played by Sarah Jessica Parker probably has the most recognisable and sought after style of the SATC girls. Her long honey hair is definitely part of her trade mark and she tends to wear simple pieces with carefully chosen accessories. Carries accessories are almost always eye catching and attention grabbing. In the film she wears a metallic coloured turban style hat teamed with a pale pink one shouldered dress, a very brave look.

For many of us holiday is the best time to try out Carrie’s looks with some Sex and the City holiday fashion. The hot weather, change of scenery and no work means that we can be just a little more adventurous with our summer dresses and accessories  and just a little bit ‘Carrie Bradshaw’ . We just love Sex and the City for the fact that it is so over the top, from the expensive shoes and huge statement jewellery to the champagne and story lines, it represents everything that there is to be happy in life about. The clothes are colourful and the sun is shining, what is there not to be smile about.
